Partner

Driven by the mission of providing empathetic support combined with aggressive advocacy, Carrie Foglesong is committed to helping clients faced with crises that threaten their futures. She believes in taking the approach that will yield the best result for her clients, whether this is through litigation or a more collaborative method.

Carrie received her undergraduate degree from California State University in Fullerton, where she graduated with high honors. She went on to obtain her Juris Doctor degree from Loyola School of Law in 2002. While at Loyola, Carrie was on the Dean’s Honor List and received the Dean’s Service Award for teaching conflict resolution and peer meditation at Immaculate Conception Catholic School to at-risk youth.

Carrie has prosecutorial and mediation experience to apply to her clients’ family law and criminal matters. During law school, she established a solid background in mediation while working at the Center for Conflict Resolution. She gained her prosecutorial experience at the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, and Whittier Superior Court. She acted as an aid for the City Attorney’s Office for the National Democratic Convention (DNC) and assisted in a pilot project designed to prosecute Los Angeles area store owners who sell tobacco products to minors. Carrie also prepared the DNC mass arrest response manual for the LAPD, U.S. Attorney’s Office, and City Attorney.

Carrie takes great pleasure in giving back to the community. She is an active member of Friends of CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) and the USC philanthropic organization Town and Gown. She has sat on the Board of Directors for the College Legal Clinic at CSUF and the Boys and Girls Club, and she has had the pleasure of acting as an instructor at Kids and Crime under Ron Larson, which teaches parental rights and responsibilities to families with at-risk children.

When she is not working, Carrie enjoys spending time with her husband and their six children. She and her family are active in the community, church, and local sports.
